The conveyor belt, transmission belt and timing belt need to be connected into endless shape before they can be installed in the equipment for use, so the quality of the belt joint directly affects the service life of the conveyor belt and the smooth operation of the conveyor line. Hot melt joint, lap joint and steel buckle are commonly used for general conveyor belt joint.

Joint type

Hot melt joint:

1. Slitting, Use Bayrich slitting machine slit the belt into the request width.

2. Ply separate -Separate the belt if it is a thick one - That is to help inside of the belt easily melted when heating.

3. Finger punch -Punch the belt into a finger shape in two end of the belt.

4. Hot press by using Bayrich belt hot press joint machine. In this step the belt will be melt and connect together. The endless belt was done.

Lapping joint:

Lapping can be divided into hot joint and cold joint

Hot welding process method;

1. The belt end shall be treated by layers, staggered from top to bottom, and inclined opening is recommended by using Bayrich grinding machine.

2. Splicing at the opening.

3. Hot melt connection of upper hot press.

Cold welding process method:

1. The two ends shall be treated by layers, staggered from top to bottom, and inclined opening is recommended by using Bayrich grinding machine.

2. Apply special glue to the opening for splicing.

3. Press with a heavy object for a period of time, and wait for the glue to dry.

Mechanical wire fastener joint:

1. Cut the opening neatly.

2. Select the steel buckle specification suitable for the thickness of the conveyor belt.

3. Place the conveyor belt and steel buckle on the Bayrich belt clipper for processing.

4. After the final processing and molding, remove the corners of the conveyor belt.

Light conveyor belt joint mode

All methods can be applied to the joint of the conveyor belt, but the finger-joint hot-melt joint is generally used. The joint will be very firm in this way. If there are special requirements, Mechanical fastener and lap joint can be used.

Timing belt joint mode

There are only two types of timing belt joints: finger joint and seamless joint. During finger joint, it is necessary to pay attention to that the finger surface of the timing belt and the other end should be completely consistent, otherwise it will not be used, and the matching model of mold should be selected during hot joint.

The seamless joint means that the timing belt is integrally formed without any joint. The use of seamless timing belt is stronger than the tooth joint in terms of belt tension and firmness.

Another way to use the timing belt is to use an opening, and one end is fixed with a matching abrasive tool.

In addition to the conventional annular use of the timing belt, various accessories can also be added on the surface of the timing belt.

Flat transmission belt joint mode
