Emergency repair method for pattern conveyor belt failure

In the process of using the patterned conveyor belt, it is inevitable that there will be more difficult faults. We all know that once a failure occurs, the party will seriously affect the production. The unfinished production volume is small, and it will seriously affect the production cost of the enterprise, which is not conducive to market competition. Therefore, in the daily use process, it is necessary to strengthen the maintenance of the patterned conveyor belt, so as to reduce the occurrence of failures; but there is inevitably an accident. When the patterned conveyor belt fails, what kind of emergency treatment should we do to ensure the smoothness of production? How did it go?
1. On the conveying surface of the patterned conveyor belt, mark 120mm along the left and right sides of the longitudinal crack, and polish the marked surface with electric steel wire, and wipe off the pockmarked surface and the rubber chips, impurities and dust in the crack.
2. After grinding the patterned conveyor belt, apply cold adhesive glue on the cleaned surface and cracks. At the same time, prepare a vulcanized repair tape with a width of 220mm (the thickness should be appropriate), and paint the glue on the repair tape. The first The glue must be completely dry (the cracks should be opened to facilitate drying).
3. Apply the glue for the second time and let it dry. When it dries to a little sticky, close the gap first, then place the repair tape, stick it together, and roll the mallet from the middle outward to make it firm.
4. In the case of long cracks in the patterned conveyor belt, the repair belt is lapped along the running direction, and the lap length is about 20 mm.
5. Use a knife to cut off the rubber that is higher than the edge of the repair tape to avoid being scratched.
6. Mark 85 mm on the left and right of the longitudinal crack on the running surface, polish the marked surface with an electric wire brush, wipe off rubber chips and impurities, and prepare a repair tape with a width of 150 mm.
7. For the patterned conveyor belt, use the same method to repair the transportation surface, paint the glue, dry it, place the adhesive repair belt, fully roll it and hammer it firmly.
8. In the event of possible cavities and cracks falling off, appropriate adhesive strips or blocks should be filled and pasted before the repair tape is pasted, and then the repair tape should be placed to keep it flat.
9. After completing the above process, it can be put into operation after parking for 8 hours.
