Common problems and solutions of synchronous belt
Feb 01, 2023
Frequently asked questions about synchronous belt:
1. The timing belt tooth is broken.
2. The belt edge of the timing belt is abnormally worn.
3. The tooth edge of the timing belt is seriously worn during use.
4. The synchronous belt deviates.
5. The synchronous belt is longitudinally opened.
Solution to common problems of synchronous belt:
1. Do not kink the belt, install wide belt or large pulley, increase the pulley diameter or wide belt, remove foreign matters, and properly tension.
2. Correct tension, install the belt with larger width and higher power transmission/increase the size of the timing belt and the size of the timing belt pulley, check the belt type and replace it if necessary.
3. Replace the timing pulley.
4. Re-align the shaft, replace the pulley flange, and reinforce the bearing or chassis.
5. Re-align the shaft, replace the pulley flange, and reinforce the bearing or chassis.
6. Replace the flange pulley, realign the pulley/shaft, correct the tension, remove foreign matters, install the protective cover, and check the cutting device and belt guide device.
